1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") define the conditions for using "Passport Photo" ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you are deemed to agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

This App is a tool for creating Japanese passport application photos. It provides the following features:

• Camera photo capture with face detection guide
• Loading and processing of on-device photos
• Adjustment to passport photo size (45×35mm)
• Background whitening correction and brightness adjustment
• Output of print submission photo data (L-size layout for convenience store printing)
• Output of online application photo data (JPG, under 600KB)
• Tips for photographing babies and children

3. Pricing

This App offers the following three plans:

• Print Photo Download (¥300): Download of print submission photo data (one time)
• Online Application Data Download (¥400): Download of online application photo data (one time)
• Print Photo & Online Application Data Download (¥500): Download of both data types (one time) + 180-day re-output support

Photo capture, loading, editing, and preview are available free of charge.

The re-output period for the ¥500 plan is 180 days after purchase or until deletion from within the app, whichever comes first.

4. Billing & Payments

• Billing is processed through Apple Inc.'s StoreKit
• Paid purchases in this App are provided as consumable digital content on the App Store (not non-consumable or auto-renewing subscriptions). Therefore, unlike "Restore Purchases" for non-consumables, they are not permanently re-granted as rights tied to your Apple ID, and identical content is not guaranteed to be automatically restored for free after reinstallation or device changes
• The App includes an option to sync App Store purchase information to the device based on StoreKit (equivalent to "Restore Purchases"). Use this if your purchase is not reflected immediately. Syncing is intended to import transaction information from the App Store side and does not restore photo data or editing content that was not retained on the device (re-output handling follows Section 3 and in-app guidance)

5. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited when using this App:

• Decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering the App
• Modifying, copying, or distributing the App
• Using the App for illegal activities
• Infringing on the rights of other users or third parties
• Creating or using photos that violate public order and morality
• Using photos created with this App for purposes that violate laws, or for unauthorized acquisition or use of identification documents, or other fraudulent purposes

6. Disclaimer

This App is a tool that assists in creating Japanese passport application photos. Please understand the following:

• Acceptance Guarantee: This App does not guarantee that photos created will always be accepted for passport applications. Acceptance is ultimately at the discretion of each passport center or application counter
• Official Requirements: Ministry of Foreign Affairs photo requirements may change. Please always check the latest requirements on the official Ministry of Foreign Affairs website
• Liability for Damages: The developer is responsible for damages arising from the use of this App under applicable laws, but unless caused by the developer's intentional or gross negligence, the scope of liability is limited to the extent permitted by law

The validity of disclaimer clauses may vary depending on the laws of your country or region. If you have any questions, please check the laws of your jurisdiction.

7. Intellectual Property

• Copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights related to this App belong to the developer or rightful holders
• Copyright of photos created using this App belongs to the original photo's rights holder
• Users may freely use photos created through this App for personal purposes

8. Data Handling

All photo data is processed on-device and never sent to the developer's servers. For details, please refer to the Privacy Policy.

9. Service Changes & Discontinuation

• Free features may be changed or discontinued without prior notice
• However, if paid services are to be discontinued, reasonable advance notice will be given

10. Changes to Terms

The developer may change these Terms as necessary. Revised Terms take effect when announced within the App or on the website. Users are responsible for periodically reviewing these Terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. In the event of a dispute regarding this App or these Terms, the court having jurisdiction over the developer's location shall be the agreed court of first instance, in accordance with applicable law.
